Helen Cohn Schucman (1909 - 1981) was an American clinical and research psychologist. She was a professor of medical psychology at Columbia University in New York from 1958 until her retirement in 1976. Schucman is best known for having "scribed" with the help of colleague William Thetford the book A COURSE IN MIRACLES (1975), the contents of which she claimed to have been given to her by an inner voice she identified as Jesus. However, as per her request, her role as its "writer" was not revealed to the general public until after her death. Based on the original handwritten notes of Helen Schucman, this is a course in miracles. It does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all encompassing can have no opposite. This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way: "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists". Herein lies the peace of God. This is a Concordance to Volume of this series.
