With several b&w photos. DJ has water damage on reverse side only-on lower half. In mylar. Jacket and book both bumped at 2 lower corners. Book shows waterstains on lower edges of pastedown endpapers, and just a hint of rippling at lower edges of first and last few pages; faint tiny stains on top edge. Original bookseller's label on rear pastedown (a bit worn). Better than it sounds! Interior still unblemished and cover unstained. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hard Cover. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good+. First Edition. Inscribed in black pen on front flyleaf: "Presented to my long-time friend, Billy McComb, with warmest regards -- John Booth" The "B" in "Booth" is a little light compared to the rest of the inscription. Presumably the pen was giving him a little trouble. Billy McComb was the internationally famous magician from Ireland, who for many years was a favorite at Hollywood's Magic Castle. This copy has a spine lean and three pages have small dog-ears, otherwise a vg copy in a vg dust jacket with some rubbing/scuffing. No jacket tears or chips. Inscribed by Author(s). Book.
