About the Author
Fred A. Manske Jr. has been instrumental in developing the exceptional business of FEDERAL EXPRESS. During his tenure as Senior Vice-President Operations and Sales, revenues increased from $415 million to $3.2 billion and Dun's Business Month named the company one of the five best-managed corporations.
Next, Mr. Manske joined PUROLATOR COURIER, Canada's leading express distribution company, as President and CEO. He is widely recognized for his leadership of the dramatic turn-around in the company's profits and service quality.
Mr. Manske has taught in the MBA programs at several universities, published articles on how to motivate and develop employees and has been a keynote speaker at international leadership and productivity conferences. Currently, he serves as President and CEO of Leadership Education and Development, Inc. and Chairman of the College Ethics Symposium.
