Synopsis
A combination of poetry and photography, the book is a tribute to John's wife who died of Alzheimer's disease. The poetry was written when persistent emotions required that they be recorded. Many are nature poems. The first section includes poems about life and living, the second about love and loving and the third about leaving, a prospect we all must face someday. The poems are upbeat and often humorous. Rodrick Schubert's photographs complement the poems.

About the Author
John Rapoza was born in New England, lived in California and Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Boulder, Colorado. His academic background is in engineering (U.Mass.) and Industrial Psychology. He is now retired. He took care of his wife at home for twelve years before she succumbed to Alzheimer's disease in 1999. He has been a volunteer speaker for the Alzheimer's Association and enjoys hiking, cycling, skiing, travelling, and writing. He has written articles and five of the poems have been published in the 75th anniversary publication of the Colorado Poetry Society.
