Noel Tichy is a professor at the University of Michigan Business School, where he specializes in leadership and organizational transformation. As a senior partner in Action Learning Associates, Tichy has consulted with clients around the world including GE, Royal Dutch/Shell, Coca-Cola, Ford, Ameritech, NEC and Royal Bank of Canada.
Eli Cohen is an independent researcher and consultant, and a partner in the firm Tichy Cohen Associates. He has consulted on strategy with a variety of clients while at Bain & Company. Prior to that he held operating positions at Procter& Gamble and Commerzbank AG.
The foreword is written by Price Pritchett, Chairman of Pritchett, LLC, a Dallas-based consulting, training and publishing firm. For 30 years he has been advising CEOs, presidents, and other senior executives on a wide range of strategic matters related to merger integration and major organizational change.
If you show up on the right day every couple of weeks at GE's Crotonville leadership development institute you will find Jack Welch, CEO of GE, teaching. Welch spends an enormous amount of time giving speeches to employees and taking the hot seat in question-and-answer sessions, but he also teaches interactively.
