About the Author
Matthew Levitt is a senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, specializing in terrorism and U.S. policy. He is a former counterterrorism intelligence analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and has written extensively about terrorism, the Middle East, and the Arab-Israeli peace negotiations.
