About the Author
Paul Ruffin is the Texas State University System Regents' Professor and Distinguished Professor of English at Sam Houston State University, where he edits The Texas Review and directs Texas Review Press. He is the author of two novels, three collections of stories, two earlier books of essays, and six books of poetry.
