Synopsis
The V/V See Time Fly books are a timeline of the history of Western Civilization. Volume 1 covers Prehistory to the Middle Ages, with Flights on important inventions (The Wheel), people (Hannibal, Buddha), cultures (Ancient Greece), and events (Magna Carta). The purpose is twofold: (1) to develop concept imagery for language comprehension and critical thinking, and (2) to teach an imaged timeline of history. Each Flight, or section, provides high-imagery paragraphs and beautiful artwork to help students visualize important events, periods, or people that changed history. The paragraphs are written to support the Visualizing and Verbalizing program. Volume Two covers the Renaissance: 1454 to 1610.
