Slanted spine. Pastedowns/endpapers foxing. A few internal markings (small ink lines along some parts of text). The dj is bumped/scuffed. Creases along edges with some small closed tears. In this entertaining and provocative book, the authors use newspapers, fiction, drama and film in order to define the Australian sixties. They discover a time when Australia both confidently asserted its place in the world and withdrew even more into insularity and dependence, a time of contradiction and paradox, the confusions of which are presented in striking photographs. Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Hardback, with dustwrapper. Head and tail of spine very lightly bumped and rubbed. Binding is neat and tidy. Some pen marks throughout. Free endpapers and pastedowns are also lightly thumbed and foxed. Page edges bear some discolouration, this halos pages through out. Foxing, albeit light, through out, otherwise this book is in fair condition. Dust wrapper bears some mild discolouration, front and back. Spine lightly sunned and covers rubbed. Back cover lightly scratched and stained. Head and tail of spine thumbed. Edges and corners are showing some wear and tear in the form of creases and the odd chip.
