Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. Large format paperback, staple bound in pictorial covers. 36 pages plus covers. Illustrated with archive black and white photographs; detailed 1:48 and 1:72 scale drawings by Ian R. Stair and three color profiles by Ray Rimell on rear cover. First edition. This monograph covers both the D.I, D.II and TypeW floatplane variants of the Haifisch (Shark). As noted in the foreword cockpit and close-up detail are lacking in this Datafile treatment as "such material has proved frustratingly elusive." Still, with Stair's detailed (6 pages) drawings and Ray Rimell's "Colours and Markings" section, as well as color profiles, this monograph remains the ultimate modeling reference for the many 1:72 and 1:48 scale kits extant. An excellent resource for the scale-modeler and airplane enthusiast. No previous ownership marks. A tight, clean copy with sharp corners and no creases. Light black smudge/line on front cover (from printer? as it appears to be under the aqueous coating), else an as new copy. Near fine. Seller Inventory # 022312
