Folding maps in endpocket, coloured facsimile plates of the manuscript. 3 volumes folio, original three-quarter cream cloth over brown boards. The de luxe issue with the three volumes contained within the solander box (rather than the usual slipcase), this quarter crimson morocco over red cloth boards, spine boldly lettered in gilt. With a large folding map of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight according to the Domesday Book. Number 679 of a limited edition of 1000 (all issues, the de luxe issue would have formed only a small part of the overall run). 17 x 12 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches; weight 6.4 kg.
