Greed, murder and international diplomatic intrigue all play their part in this gripping political thriller. Two petty Armenian criminals are recruited by the KGB, and given a mission in London. Their task is to block the sale of arms from a crooked British official to the breakaway state of Chechnya, stopping at nothing, including the assassination of the new Chechen Ambassador. When the decomposing bodies of the Ambassador and his brother are discovered by the police, the Armenians are arrested. But when one of them is found murdered in his prison cell, it becomes apparent that there is more to fear than the long arm of the law. Set in 1993, and based on a true story derived from the author's own experience, this is the fictionalised account of the Chelsea Penthouse Murders.

Review:
"A really terrific read. Fact or fiction I found it a real page-turner. Entertaining, and somewhere between Ian Fleming and Dan Brown, I couldn't wait to find out what would happen. A rattling good read!" Alan Swedloff "An edgy thriller with some wonderful hints of humour. The plot, based around real events moves speedily from Russia to London. The characters by turns, threatening and vulnerable, sometimes foolish and violent but always believable give this novel a real sense of authenticity - the author has made a compelling case for what 'might have happened'. We see here how major historical events have the power to affect changes in the circumstances of individuals for ever...Couldn't put it down." K. Bohanna on Amazon 4 stars "I rapidly read my way through this book loving the spy intrigue and historical references. I was surprised to find the killers caught and arrested just over half way through and wondered what was next. I didn't need to worry as the book continued at the same fast pace filling in further background and and adding tales of cover-ups and political manoeuvring. A thoroughly entertaining read well worth the money!" Elx on Amazon 4 stars
