At last a regular Volume for the Southern devotee. SECR, LBSCR, LSWR, SR, BR-S, steam, electric and diesel, all are in our remit. Similar volumes exist for the LMS, Midland, and GWR enthusiast - it's about time there was one for the Southern as well! The first, 'Preview' issue will be produced in early 2007, 'No1' in Autumn 2007, three further issues in 2008, and four from 2009 onwards. Each issue will contain a mixture of articles and photographs covering a wonderfully rich list of subjects - and invariably NEW MATERIAL both in content and PHOTOGRAPHICALLY.

About the Author

Kevin Robertson had his first article on the local railway published when he was just 14. He took up full-time writing in 1982 and since then has had numerous books on the railway scene published, including The Leader Project: Fiasco or Triumph? which was published by Ian Allan Publishing in 2007 to critical and commercial acclaim. He has written a wide selection of books for the Ian Allan list, and is a particular expert on all things relating to the Southern Region. Kevin also runs his own publishing company, Noodle Books, and currently lives in Corhampton in Hampshire.
