About the Author

Nigel Gibson, Author, worked for The Economist Newspaper of London. He helped to launch EuroBusiness, a monthly business magazine, in the 1990s. Since then he has worked in public and investor relations in Hong Kong and London and as a freelance journalist specialising in finance.

Digby Lidstone, Editor, is the founder of Gulf Business Intelligence and editor of The Gulf. Previously he was features editor for the Middle East Economic Digest (MEED). For the last 10 years he has written for the UK national press and international titles, specialising in Middle East business and current affairs.

Abdullah J. Wallace, Associate Publisher, was with the Middle East Economic Digest (MEED) for 22 years and, from 1978, its editor-in-chief and publisher. Since 1987 he has been active in publishing books on the economies of the Middle East, and re-launched the London-based Arab Banker magazine.
