Synopsis
This work is a basic English dictionary of Italian legal terms and relevant definitions. The caveat is issued that we are dealing with terms from a legal system based on the civil law and are attempting to make them comprehensible to those accustomed to one derived from the common law. It is hoped that this dictionary may serve as a handy guide to Italian legal terms and relevant definitions and that it prove useful to those engaged in legal, commercial and international affairs. It will be beneficial to college and university students and those attending undergraduate and graduate schools of commerce and business administration and schools of law.
