About the Author:
Ingrid Glatz Elliott is the Director of Resources for Children in Hospitals, a group dedicated to explaining the hospital experience to young children. This interest was developed when her own children faced hospitalization. Ms. Elliott has written two books, Hospital Roadmap and Hospital Roadmap Manual. She has a Master's Degree in Education with a specialty in child development and has researched the topic while observing pre-admission programs at The Children's Hospital in Boston and other institutions.
