About the Author

DR. BENJAMIN F. FINDLEY, JR., RFC, is President of Professional Management Resources Company, a private Florida firm specializing in offering various management seminars and workshops for managers and employees, management resource books, and financial consulting services. He has over 25 years of experience in private industry as a personnel director for Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company in New York City and with Abbott Laboratories in Austin, Texas, as a U.S. Air Force Colonel in personnel, and in higher education as dean, professor, and administrator for colleges and universities. His doctorate is in business/teaching from the University of Northern Colorado, his master's is in industrial relations and his bachelor's is in business, both from West Virginia University. He has completed post-doctorate and advanced management study at the University of Texas in Austin, the Air Force Institute of Technology, and the University of California at Davis. Since 1994, he has served as a visiting graduate professor of management for the University of Arkansas at the Fort Walton Beach, FL Center, where he teaches strategic management, financial management, and human resources management in their master's degree program. He also serves as the Director of Risk Management and Legal Affairs for Pensacola Junior College. Previously, he served as Dean of the College of Business and Professor of Management at the University of Sarasota in FL and Dean of the School of Business at Pensacola Junior College. Ben is the author of several books, including a college personnel text, a leadership text, and a business/psychological operations text, as well as a U.S. Air Force required course in principles of supervision in CD-ROM format. He has written and presented numerous leadership, financial management, human resources, organizational and personal management articles and workshops. He is certified as a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) with the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants and is a certified U.S. Small Business Administration Consultant.
