He is a professor of aviation at the University of North Dakota's Center for Aerospace Sciences. He also teaches advanced wilderness seaplane pilot courses. He lives in Florence, Oregon. Cesare Baj is a science writer and editorial consultant. He has been a member of the Aero Club Como Seaplane Base since 1970.
