Author Biography: Dale De Remer, Ph.D. is the author of Global Navigation for Pilots, Seaplane Operations, and Aircraft Systems for Pilots. He is a professor of aviation at the University of North Dakota's Center for Aerospace Sciences. He also teaches advanced wilderness seaplane pilot courses. He lives in Florence, Oregon. Cesare Baj is a science writer and editorial consultant. He has been a member of the Aero Club Como Seaplane Base since 1970.

Dale De Remer is Professor Emeritus of aviation at the University of North Dakota's Center for Aerospace Sciences. He also teaches advanced wilderness seaplane pilot courses. He lives in Florence, Oregon.
