Rene Rondeau is a professional watchmaker who has been collecting Hamilton watches since 1984. A specialist in Hamilton Electric watches of the 1950s and 1960s, he is the author of "The Watch of the Future" as well as "Hamilton Wristwatches -- A Collector's Guide." He has also contributed many articles about the Hamilton Watch Company to the NAWCC Bulletin. As the world's leading authority on Hamilton wristwatches Rondeau has frequently been quoted in watch magazines, and has served as the historian for the modern Hamilton Watch Company since 1998. He has been a member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors and the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute for over twenty years.
