About the Author:
Dr. John has been a medical doctor for forty years after preparing himself with three years as a World War II U.S. Navy Corpsman, an Allegheny College biology and chemistry major, a University of Pennsylvania medical student, a Wilmington, Delaware Hospital intern, and a University of Pittsburgh Medical Center resident in occupational and environmental medicine.

The doctor has taken his commonsense and compassionate approach to medicine, coupled with the spirit of the country doctor, from the rural Allegheny Mountains to the Dakota and Montana Indian country, the African countries of Ethiopia and Sudan, the Pennsylvania Correctional Institutions, and back again to Rainbow's End Nature Sanctuary in Cameron County, Pennsylvania. He provides consulting services for occupational, environmental, alternative, and holistic medicine as personal physician to individuals and families, family doctor to the workplace (employee and employer), and as country doctor to the environment.
