This latest entry in the "maximize communication, minimize financial and emotional losses" sweepstakes is another winner. In addition to explaining such topics as prenuptial agreements, trusts, and forms of asset ownership, attorney Gordon inserts boldfaced "Warnings" on especially tricky pitfalls and uses real-life examples to clarify points and illustrate consequences. Patricia Estess's Remarriage and Your Money ( LJ 11/15/91) covers the same material and is as informative. Each author uses bulleted lists, advantage/disadvantage comparisons, and worksheets to urge lovers to overcome the myth that money talk ruins romance. Gordon's "List of Resources" is more comprehensive than Estess's bibliography; his chattier style may appeal to more patrons. Small libraries are safe with either choice; larger libraries should own both.
