Gerald Locklin, originally from New York and educated by nuns in Rochester, now lives in Southern California and teaches poetry and writing classes at California State University, Long Beach. A prolific author, Locklin has published dozens of books of poetry and many collections of short stories. Gerald has read/performed his poems throughout the United States and Great Britain where he spent a term exchange teaching. Locklin is Phi Beta Kappa and a member of The Hemingway Society, Associated Writing Program, The E.E. Cummings Society and the Western Writers Association. Bukowski called him "one of the great undiscovered talents of our time."
