Synopsis
This is a book about adventure, in which the writers set off in search of an ancient and unspoiled rainforest. Constantly challenged to push back their limits, after many trials and a hair-raising trek through jungle, swamps and over a mountain, they found what they were looking for in Papua New Guinea, only to discover it was about to be destroyed. Undaunted, they began an adventure of a different kind, jostling in the "corridors of power" to influence the government and travelling for days by dugout canoe to warn the forest peoples of the impending disaster.
