About the Author

Richard Fobes (Fobes rhymes with robes) teaches Creative Problem Solving Skills workshops, and wrote a Creative Problem Solving Tips column for four years. The material explained in this book he learned outside of classrooms, beginning in childhood. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and studied Atmospheric Science as a graduate student. He has worked as a writer, interactive multimedia software designer, systems analyst, computer programmer, inventor, electronics technician, hardware store clerk, and dance instructor.
