A history of the Confederate cavalry brigade which consisted of the 8th and 21st Virginia Cavalry Regiments, the 27th, 34th, 36th and 37th Va Cavalry Battalions. William E. Jones, known as Grumble for his inability to get along with his superior officers. Jones was removed from the Army of Northern Virginia and sent to Western Virginia and East Tennessee by Robert E. Lee after an altercation with JEB Stuart. Jones was killed in action in June 1864. Very good copy of the first edition in a very good dust jacket.
