White, a credit counseling consultant, has written a comprehensive guide to credit and borrowing money. He gives excellent advice on how to deal with credit card companies and credit reporting agencies, obtain credit, and establish a credit history. For those who have debt problems, there is help with budgeting, bankruptcy, and handling law suits. Considerable attention is given to one's legal rights when applying for credit and dealing with debt collectors. White includes a chapter on loans, including mortgages. The best part of this book are the sample letters and budgeting worksheets. Also included are an extensive list of agencies and companies involved in credit and credit counseling, along with a bibliography of over 100 sources. Although expensive, this source is full of great information and worth the price.
