I have attended church all my life, and I have observed ministers and church leaders struggling over the proposition as to how to turn their grudgingly giving congregations into cheerful tithers. No where have I heard any minister taught tithing from the perspective that the individual is the greatest benefactor. I found this point of view so compelling until I decided to write this book for other laypersons can learn the benefit of tithing.
