Mildred Andrews' previous published books include Washington Women as Path Breakers; Seattle Women--a Legacy of Community Development; Seeking to Serve--the Legacy of Seattle's Plymouth Congregational Church; and Auburn School District--the First 100 Years. A resident of Seattle, she is well-known locally as a researcher, lecturer and writer. She holds a doctorate from the University of Washington.
