About the Author

Dr. Don Miller was born in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Compton Community College, received Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Psychology from Long Beach Stte University in 1955 and 1956, respectively. After serving as a "Psy Warrior" (Psychological Warfare) for the 1st Radio And Leaflet Batallion at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he attended UCLA from 19588-1960. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Utah in 1966. He worked from 1966 to 1971 at the San Diego County Community Mental Health Center and the South Bay Guidance Center in California. Since 1971 he has engaged in the private practice of Psychology in Chula Vista, California. He is a past president of the San Diego Psychological Association.
