About the Author:

Janis has taught the young and young at heart for many years. She began with her children and their friends in her garage in Santa Barbara, and currently teaches in her sunny art studio in Roseville, California. Students have come from near and far for her teaching ability, and for her caring attitude in all her endeavors.

Walt Disney Produtions provided the opportunkity for her to learn and express her cretivity in the medium of movies. Several Churches in Southern and Northern California have impressive murals, stained glass windows and banners designed by Janis that are appreciated by all who view them.

Janis regularly serves as a resident artist at Yosemite National Park. She has studied with Gary Pruner, Joe Patitucci, and Don Griffith of Sacramento; the Smithsonian Institute, Washington, DC; and has participated in many seminars.

This book took nearly twenty six years to complete and includes tips she has learned thoughout her many years of teaching.
