Each chapter opens with questions that might be posed by those unfamiliar with "the Natural Way" - the Earth-based spiritual practices of the Oglala Sioux. McGaa uses these questions as a starting point to delve into a variety of topics, which taken as a whole present a comprehensive guide to living a life in harmony with nature, as well as a life dedicated to preserving the earth.

About the Author
Ed McGaa (Eagle Man) was born on the Oglala Sioux reservation and is a registered tribal member. He has danced in six annual Sioux Sun Dances, and has studied with Chief Eagle Feather and Chief Fools Crow. Ed McGaa holds a law degree from the University of South Dakota and is the author of a number of books including Mother Earth Spirituality and Rainbow Tribe. He lives in Edina, MN.
