Raised on a farm in North Carolina, Emily Lineberger Bridges was involved with horses as a child. But when her father became ill, she was forced to part with her childhood horse, Dolly. With adulthood came other responsibilities and horses became a thing of the past. Then in 1992, Emily re-discovered the importance of horses in her life. She bought her first horse as an adult and realized that she knew little about taking care of horses. She made a commitment to raise horses and learned horse lessons by taking one day at a time and by looking at each challenge as an opportunity to learn.
Since 1996 Emily has lived at Summerwind Farm in Lebanon, Tennessee with her husband, Ron, where they raise Arabian horses. If you ask her to describe her life she will say "I'm living the dream!"
