About the Author

Kenneth V. Lorimer is an International consultant and author in Education, Knowledge and the Computer. He received a M.Phil. and a PhD. In Cybernetics and Information Systems in the School of Engineering from Brunel University, Uxbridge, England. Dr. Lorimer was consultant to the famous PLATO system, a multimedia computer-based educational delivery system.

He has been involved in applying Cybernetic, and Artificial Intelligence techniques, and technology to teaching and education. Dr. Lorimer also is an expert in designing information system for planning and control (including cost and management systems and of network systems).

Dr. Lorimer has over two decades of experience, holding both teaching and management positions. He is President and head of the Cybernetics and Information Technology Center, and was Senior Lecturer, Visiting Professor and Professor at several major Polytechnics and Universities in England, Canada and the United States of America.

Besides his scholarly and professional activities, he practices Kendo, the Art and Philosophy of Japanese Fencing, and holds the rank 6th Dan in Kendo.
