The answer from the panel was united, "Bob Winkler's book...but it is out of print." We're very pleased to be able to provide the 2nd edition of this significant work!

(From the Preface) This book is intended as an introduction to statistical inference and decision from a Bayesian viewpoint. The empahsis is largely conceptual; although specific classes of situations are considered, the primary objective is to present a general framework for handling problems of statistical inference and decision and to develop an appreciation for the basic concepts and the theory underlying this framework.
