About the Author:

Lewis P. Hinchman has hiked all over the world since the early 1970's. He spent a year in Australia walking the trails, checking mileages, investigating the best and most scenic trails, and compiling his descriptions of hikes. A college professor in northern New York, he is also the author of many academic books and articles.
