First edition (as stated upon copyright page). [12], 392 pages. Paperback: H 21.75cm x L 14cm. Red paper covers. Laid-in at rear (as part of the publication) are two folding sheets featuring photographs of the 1946 and 1947 BSI dinners with keys identifying the attendees. Laid-in between pages 106-107 is slender sheet with short nine-line ink note to past owner (Ambassador Ralph Earle II) with scrawled illegible signature from an apparent fellow BSI member and retained for that association.
