About the Author:

John Garmon’s poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, Southern Poetry Review, River King Poetry Supplement, Southern Humanities Review, Atlanta Review, and other journals. He is the sponsor and co-editor of New Century North American Poets. He is president of Vista Community College in Berkeley, California.

Donna Biffar is the author of two books of poetry, Water Witching in the Garden and Events Preceding Death. A chapbook, Down: and Other Syndromes (2002) was published by Pudding House Publications. Her next chapbook, When Tractors Are Art, is forthcoming from Snark Publishing. She edits River King Poetry Supplement and Southwestern Illinois College’s literary magazine, Head to Hand. She is a co-editor of New Century North American Poets and the upcoming River King Poetry Press anthologies The Black Angel, and The Best of River King.

Wayne Lanter is the founder and co-editor of River King Poetry Supplement and River King Poetry Press. He has published four books of poetry, The Waiting Room, Threshing Time: a Tribute to James Hearst, At Float on the Ohta-gawa (Honorable Mention from the Edwin Mellen Poetry Press contest on a book-length poem commemorating the bombing of Hiroshima), Canonical Hours, and a novel, The Final Days, is forthcoming. He is a co-editor of New Century North American Poets.
