Diane Trepanier began making jewelry in junior high school after receiving a gift of red lacquered wooden beads. Several years ago, when she began making lampworked beads, her studio began to take over her home -- the kiln is on the stove top, the torch is on the porch, and her sofa holds many wire working odds and ends. Her wire designing has resulted in the development of a new wire tool, and she has formed a jewelry design company, Solfyre. Diane teaches and demonstrates wire working techniques, along with selling her jewelry throughout the US.
"Designing with Wire - Project Book Two" contains beginning to advanced wire and bead jewelry projects made on the WigJig Delphi. Learn to consistently make professional -quality jewelry components for necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. The book includes innovative wire working techniques such as how to wrap beads, double wire cages, how to use hammered or twisted wire, how to make hooks, catches, ear wires, and much more.
