Synopsis
"Roads to Saratoga" is the second book of Gil Herkimer's "Roads" trilogy about of the continued saga of the settlement and defense of New York's Mohawk Valley by the Palatines and other Europeans during the 1700's. The first book, "Roads to Oriskany," was first published in 1996, and its second printing was in 1998. THe third book of the trilogy is "Roads to Niagara" scheduled for publication in late 2000. Currently, the author is working on a sequel, "Roads to Where?"

About the Author
Born and raised in the Mohawk Valley, New York area, Gil Herkimer (Allen G. Herkimer Jr.) has traveled extensively throughout the United States abd overseas as a corporate executive, management consultant, university professor, and textbook author and lecturer. Upon his retirement as professor emeritus, he returned to his first two loves, studying history and playing jazz. Herkimer and his wife, Fay Page, proudly declare themselves New Yorkers who lived for nearly twenty years in Southern California, and now reside in Texas near their grandchildren.
