About the Author
Roland S. Barth, author of "Improving Schools From Within', "Run School Run", and "Open Education and the American School" is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship. He is a former public school educator and member of the faculty at Harvard University. He lives and sails in Maine and Florida.
