Favorite Recipes Press was founded in 1961 by Millard Fuller and Morris Dees, to fund their college educations. Both, later, sold their interests in the company and founded nationally knows not-for-profit organizations. Fuller founded Habitat for Humanity International and Dees founded the Southern Poverty Law Center. One of the nation's best-known and most respected producers of cookbooks, Favorite Recipes Press has produced over 1000 titles working with nonprofit organizations, chefs, resorts, spas, retailers, restaurants and more.
