Synopsis
This book contains the words and sentences taught by the Ultimate Phonics Reading Program. It is designed to be used in concert with the Ulitmate Phonics software CD-ROM. In learning to read the contents of this book, the student learns to read almost 4,500 of the most common words in English, which constitute the core of the English language. In addition, the student learns to read over 2,000 sentences written using this core vocabulary. All of this material is presented and taught in a highly structured, phonics-based format, so that the student learns all of the major phonics rules and patterns of English in addition to the specific vocabulary. We believe that any person who learns to fluently read the contents of this book is very likely to become an excellent reader of English. We also believe that this level of reading is attainable for the vast majority of people, including children as young as four or five years and older students who have previously found reading to be difficult.
