Additionally, there is an expansive history section, which includes a facts and figures list of key events in the city s development, as well as photographs from Rochester s early years.

About the Author
Rochester, Minn. native Dean Riggott has worked as a professional photographer since 1991 when he began his career as a photojournalist for the Post-Bulletin, Successful Business and Agri News newspapers in Rochester.
Dean left his newspaper job in 1999 to devote full attention to his freelance business, Dean Riggott Photography, specializing in Rochester and agriculture photo stock, commercial, corporate, editorial and wedding photography. In 1997, Dean published his best-selling book, "Rochester: The Images," and in 2001 he published "Life on the Farm: A Pictorial Journey of Minnesota’s Farmland and its People."
