Don Blazer has been a writer/trainer for more than 35 years. He has trained horses which have won at western pleasure, reining, jumping, dressage and stakes events for both Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses. His column, A Horse, Of Course is read by thousands of fans in more than 50 horse publications around the country. He has taught for five colleges and universities and is presently an adjunct faculty member of Scottsdale Community College.
Cathy Hanson, a member of the execuitive committee of the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association and trainer of more than 25 AQHA champions, has been training for nearly 20 years. She studied in England, earning her B.H.S.A.I. certificiate prior to opening a stable in Southern California. She specializes in trail and western riding horses and competes annual in the AQHA World Championships. An active clinician, she was a member of the coaching team for the Youth World Cup.
