About the Author

Carolyn L. Mein, D.C., is a nationally recognized author, speaker, and expert on health and nutrition. She is a fellow of the American Council of Applied Clinical Nutrition (F.A.C.A.C.N.) and a charter member of the International College of Applied Kinesiology. Dr. Mein holds degrees in Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Applied Nutrition, and Bio-Nutrition. She has maintained a private practice in Rancho Sante Fe, California (near San Diego) for over 25 years. Dr. Mein's interests in health, wellness and nutrition began with personal experimentation and observation. In an effort to sort through and make sense of the jungle of popular diets, she turned to the body itself. Through applied kinesiology, Dr. Mein listens to the body for direct answers to health and nutrition.
