Be Full of Yourself! dismantles the self-critical question "what's wrong with me" by exploring its historical, theological, and personal origins. The reader is invited to descend into the richness of her own life, to reclaim her inner resources, and to learn the language of self-celebration.

Does the question "what's wrong with me" regularly punctuate your life as you search far and wide for someone to give you an answer or to offer you a magical insight, treatment, or cure? Is your automatic tendency to feel inadequate, that you're never quite good enough no matter what you do? Are you tired of second-guessing your impulses, pathologizing your decisions, theorizing about your feelings, and processing every detail of your relationships?
Imagine sitting in a circle of women who have ousted the question "what's wrong with me" from their hearts, minds, bodies, and lives. Women who trust their impulses, take responsibility for their decisions, express their feelings, participate in their relationships, and celebrate their stunning capacities as children of life. Women who give birth to poems of truth, rituals of healing, relationships of equality, and households of compassion. Women full of themselves!
Join Patricia Lynn Reilly and the fifty two contributors to Be Full of Yourself! on the journey from self-criticism to self-celebration. In the company of these women, explore the origins of your self-critical attitudes and dismantle them-once and for all. Descend into the richness of your own life and reclaim your inner resources. Learn the language of self-celebration and incorporate it into your daily interactions. Bite into your life and the fullness of its possibility!
Patricia Lynn Reilly received a master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and post-graduate certification from the Women's Theological Center in Women's Spirituality and Feminist Theology. As the founder of Open Window Creations, she conducts women's spirituality, creativity, and self-esteem retreats, and publishes inspirational books and resources. As a feminist theologian, she engages the psychological, religious, and recovery communities in an ongoing conversation. Through her work and writing, she reminds these communities of the stories of women they have neglected to tell and of the truth of a woman's life unacknowledged in their principles, perspectives, and theologies.
