Synopsis

About the Author

Wade Stevenson is a retired Special Agent from the U.S. Department of Defense Investigative Service, a Federal Law Enforcement and Investigative Agency. His thirty-five year career with the U.S. Government ranged from performing duty as an armed guard and courier with the Armed Forces Courier Service in Europe, to serving as a U.S. Intelligence Officer. He has worked on espionage cases involving offenders such as Boyce and Lee (the infamous Falcon and Snowman team), James Durward Harper, William H. Bell, the Navy Walker family and others.

He held an executive position with Presidential and other Departmental level clearances in the most secret of all Pentagon operations—the Black World Special Access Programs Office—Office of the Secretary of Defense. His assignments have involved working closely with the CIA, NSA, FBI, the Secret Service, NASA and numerous other agencies on classified projects. Mr. Stevenson is bound by lifetime security restrictions on many past assignments that he can never reveal. While there is no intent to represent the characters or the events in The Salzdorf Wellspring as anything other than fictitious, portions of the book are based in truth and involves one of his assignments he could write about.
