From the Inside Flap:
When newspaper editor Gary Stephens reads the letter, his first instinct is to toss it. But there is something different about this letter. No name, no signature, just a plain eight by ten sheet of paper with the words: I WILL KILL ONE SENATOR OR REPRESENTATIVE EVERY WEEK UNTIL TAXES ARE LOWERED AND WASTEFUL SPENDING IS STOPPED!

It began as a casual comment, made among a small group of friends at a local pizza parlor. As Government spending increased, the talk became more serious. Finally someone said, "let's do it!" and they did it! Two Senators are dead and they have a plan for the next one.

Knowing the death of one more Senator would be blamed on the infamous unknown killers, Lisa Thompson, a beautiful Congressional intern, is determined to kill her sexually harassing boss. She baits the hook and the Senator takes it.

As Congressmen begin dropping like flies, so do taxes. But when the press credits this to the killings, Congress passes one of the worst spending bills in U.S. history.

It was what Annie Simmons had hoped for. Having not been directly involved in the other killings, Annie, who looks "a little like Grampa Munster," was feeling left out. A feeling she didn't like. She has a plan, but a chance encounter with her intended victim forces Annie to improvise. And improvise she does as she becomes involved in one of the strangest and most unique murder scenes ever written.

Very likable killers, very unlikable U.S. Congressman, satirical humor and the "Lucky Bitch" make Blind Luck a page-turner everyone will be talking about.

From the Back Cover:
"It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly American criminal class except Congress." - Mark Twain. Actual Congressional Expenditures: $107,000 to study the sex life of the Japanese quail. $1.2 million to study the breeding habits of the woodchuck. $19 million to examine gas emissions from cow flatulence...$1 million to study why people don't ride bicycles to work...Blind Luck! How a group of pizza loving yuppies plan to make Congress lower taxes and stop wasteful spending.
