About the Author

Dr. Christopher Atang is a Professor of Education. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Industrial Education and a minor in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. He holds a graduate diploma in the Teaching of English from Heriott-Watt University, Moray House college of Education in Edinburgh, Scotland (UK), and a Master of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, majoring in Instructional Systems Technology. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree, majored in Education from Iowa state University, Ames IA. From 1973 to 1990, he served as Senior Lecturer at the International Association of Pan African Institute for Development. He also lectured graduate and undergraduate students in the College of Education at Amadu Belo University in Zaria, Nigeria from 1978 to 1980. From 1994 to 2000, he was Associate Chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas where he supervised student teachers and doctoral dissertations. From 2000 to 2004, he taught at Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina where he authored ADEPT Performance Dimensions. There is no doubt that Dr. Atang is a seasoned Educator and Scholar and you will have a lot to learn from his publications.
