He serves on the bidding panels for both publications and is the author of the books Demon Defense and Demon Doubling, Three Notrump in Depth, and Wielding the Axe (all HNB Publishing) as well as Private Sessions A Bridge Education. He teaches bridge in and around New York City, where he also performs as a concert pianist.
